I mean, if it's about a specific RPG, it'll have to be about one I've actually played, so keep that in mind, but other than that, I don't care if it's specific to a game, a series, or just a general one regarding the RPG genre. Good question though. And now that I think about it, I should probably let you guys know what specific RPGs I've played--I'm gonna edit in a list right now.The RPGeniushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02752937839502693108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-268660459652553228.post-12145728043523976742012-12-18T19:17:21.416-08:002012-12-18T19:17:21.416-08:00Yeah, Brave was okay, but I think it's not up ...Yeah, Brave was okay, but I think it's not up to Pixar's usual level of quality. Wreck-It Ralph just absolutely obliterates it. You definitely need to see it.

Actually, KotOR1 was made by Bioware, but KotOR2 was not. While this was back in the day when Bioware was on the ball, the folks behind KotOR2 are just way, WAY more amazing. Hell, any time you get Chris Avellone involved in a game, you can bet it's probably gonna outclass about 90% of all the things you've ever played.

I haven't had any experience with Mega Man since MMX3, so this was a harsh, harsh realization of what things have come to.

And man, totally lame or not, you just made my month. The fact that someone, anyone, actually gets some use out of these lists is a HUGE reassurance to me, since I have until now figured that these things were up there with the AMV rants as things I amuse myself and no one else with. Thanks, sir!The RPGeniushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02752937839502693108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-268660459652553228.post-90769659347745242062012-12-18T16:45:48.147-08:002012-12-18T16:45:48.147-08:00Last time he did this, it was for anything and eve...Last time he did this, it was for anything and everything RPG-related. Since he didn't say otherwise, I'd presume it's the same show.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-268660459652553228.post-78666707450073468102012-12-18T15:20:31.468-08:002012-12-18T15:20:31.468-08:00Happy Early Chistmass also for that rant topic thi...Happy Early Chistmass also for that rant topic thing do you want topics for general Rpg or Specific games or both?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-268660459652553228.post-81572952296922588162012-12-18T12:25:53.653-08:002012-12-18T12:25:53.653-08:00Skipped the ME stuff since I'm actually invest...Skipped the ME stuff since I'm actually invested in this series now(while I've gleefully spoiled the ME3 ending long ago, ME2 is totally untouched). Yeah, I have a "RL" friend who's pushing GoG on me something fierce. THIRTY GAEMZ EACH CHEAPER THAN A BIG MAC, and such.

As movies go, I only saw Dark Knight Rises and Brave. Loved them both. I've heard too many good things about the rest you mentioned to discount your ramblings. Gotta see them in good time.

-I'm sorry you played Golden Sun 3. As bad as ME3's ending is, it at least provoked emotion.
-I was actually waiting on that Restoration Mod before playing KotOR 2. When I get a half-ass computer, that'll be first on the list. I'm on a serious Bioware binge.
-Mega Man is dead, man. Shame you had to experience that firsthand.

Also, this is like totally lame, Becky, but I use these end-of-year lists to help figure out what I'll be playing next year. There are some perks to being years behind!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-268660459652553228.post-35752174920747489172012-12-18T09:46:20.729-08:002012-12-18T09:46:20.729-08:00Man, I hear you. And I don't really blame you on Risen--it's slow going, and only becomes even minutely interesting later on, and even then, not by a whole lot.

I'll look forward to your entry, sir, and happy holidays to you, as well. The RPGeniushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02752937839502693108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-268660459652553228.post-3037180046131898922012-12-18T09:30:03.634-08:002012-12-18T09:30:03.634-08:00Glad to see ME 3 didn't get all hate - EDI was...Glad to see ME 3 didn't get all hate - EDI was pretty awesome in it, but then I enjoyed her personality in ME 2 as well.

I have Bastion - I just haven't played it yet. I keep meaning to, but my backlog of games - particularly RPG games - is huge. And almost depressing. I can get through 90% of a fighter in a weekend, but like you, I tend to play out my RPG's all of the way, and try to explore EVERYTHING. That being said, there were a couple I played this year (Risen, Ego Draconis) I just couldn't finish.

Have yourself a nice holiday (and you have email!)

- ChalChalgyrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10879608925209948366noreply@blogger.com
